ALLPlayer - play any video and audio file
In today's computer world, the number of media file formats is extremely high and that's why you could have some trouble playing all of them using the same application. That's because most media players don't offer support for any media file, not even for the most popular ones. Let's take Windows Media Player, for example. This program offers limited support for media formats and can play only few of them. The problem is not necessarily solved by installing a 3rd party player, as most players available on the market are still not compatible with all media formats. Fortunately, there are some applications that manage to play all the media formats available. One of them is ALLPlayer.
This simple application can play an impressive list of video and audio formats and also offers some additional features that other similar applications forgot to include. It's a Windows application with a familiar installation wizard. The system requirements are low enough to make the program able to run even on older computers.
When running the software, a small graphical window will be displayed, allowing the user to easily load his desired audio or video file. But the true functionality of ALLPlayer can be accessed using the right click context menu. Using it, the user can automatically look for a subtitle for an imported video. This can be done online and offline. As soon as the subtitle is found, it will be automatically added to the movie.
Besides looking for subtitles, ALLPlayer can also create playlists using various audio and video files, allowing the user to play them all automatically, one by one. At the end of the playback process, the program can be set to automatically turn off the computer.
Besides playing audio and video files, this software can also play video DVDs and audio CDs, without requiring an external decoder, as it's the case with Windows Media Player. Besides that, the interface of ALLPlayer supports various skins, allowing the user to create a new skin from scratch using his desired images.
In case one wants to play audio files, he can take advantage of the audio visualization feature, which includes various types of visualizations. Using the options section of ALLPlayer, the user can configure all the aspects of the program and can even set the program to use external codecs or filters.
